On Tuesday, we came across two exciting encounters, and expect much of the same on Day 4. Reverse fixtures are beginning to take place with the opponents of Day 1 facing each other on Wednesday at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Mahalunge, Pune. Gujarat Giants are all set to take guard against Mumbai Khiladis in the first match, and that will be followed by the second match-up between table-toppers Telugu Yoddhas and the winless Chennai Quick Guns.

Let’s have a look at what all to expect on the fourth matchday of UKK.

Match 7: Gujarat Giants vs Mumbai Khiladis

Gujarat Giants have been on the top of the game in their previous two encounters. They have beaten Mumbai Khiladis and Odisha Juggernauts to keep themselves second on the standings. Aniket Pote has been in excellent form so far. He has added 13 points through his defending skills in the two matches he has played this season. He is a reliable Defender in the Gujarat Giants defence and has been handling the ship, since their captain Ranjan Shetty hasn’t been able to showcase his best form yet. They enter the contest as the favourites but a lot depends on how the day pans out.

Mumbai Khiladis, on the other hand, came back with an impressive win against Rajasthan Warriors after an initial loss. They will be up against the same opposition, Gujarat Giants, against whom they lost their first game of the season. They will look to do enough homework before they make their way on the mat, and would be hoping that their winning streak doubles.

Head-to-Head:

In the only game played so far between the two sides, Gujarat Giants turned out to be the winner against Mumbai Khiladis, with a thumping scoreline of 69-44.

Match 8: Telugu Yoddhas vs Chennai Quick Guns

Telugu Yoddhas have put up a scintillating show with two consecutive wins this season. They have been a force to reckon with but it’s still early days in the league. Prasad Radye has been class apart in the defence. He has amassed 16 points so far in the two matches he has played. Rohan Shingade, who is an All-Rounder, has been quite successful as an Attacker. He has added 17 points to his name in the last two matches. These two would look to work in tandem in the two innings of the game and bring more glory to their team.

Chennai Quick Guns are desperate for a win after incurring two losses in a row. Rajvardhan Patil is a promising All-Rounder for the Chennai Quick Guns and has scored 10 points in the two matches he has played so far. Quick Guns will be hoping that captain Amit Patil leads by example against the Yoddhas. It will be crucial for them to leave behind the losing momentum and go all guns blazing.

Head-to-Head:

Both the sides have met just once before, where Telugu Yoddhas got the better of the Chennai Quick Guns by a 48-40 scoreline.
