Agility. Precision. Accuracy. These attributes are what set some Attackers a class apart from the rest in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2.
The recent edition of UKK was a sheer delight to watch, as players - who were designated as Attackers - went above and beyond to showcase their mettle on the mat, grab quick points and keep fans at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack constantly on the edge of their seats with their tacit Running Touches, Pole Dives and Sky Dives.
Let's introduce you to the top three players who have earned a place in the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 Hall of Fame as the most prolific Attacker in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2.
Ramji Kashyap (Chennai Quick Guns) - 84 Attack Points
Nothing short of a run-machine, Ramji Kashyap exuded steadfast command and authority in his Attacking approach to pioneer Chennai Quick Guns to the final and just two defeats in their entire UKK Season 2 adventure. While he couldn't match his tally (108) from Season 1, the record-breaker registered 84 points that comprised 54 Sky Dives, 26 Touch Points and 4 Pole Dives. Ramji Kashyap's exploits saw him win the Player of the Season honour for the second season in a row.
Pratik Waikar (Telugu Yoddhas) - 68 Attack Points
If you know Mister Fantastic from the comic series Fantastic Four, you can associate him with Pratik Waikar. The Telugu Yoddhas captain was all around the mat, taking long strides of confidence to attack as the Wazir and dismiss opponents on a whim. His tally of 68 Attack Points comprised 26 Pole Dives, 24 Touch Points, and 18 Sky Dives. Waikar's performances earned him the Attacker of the Season award.
Rahul Mandal (Telugu Yoddhas) - 58 Attack Points
A dark horse in the competition, Rahul Mandal showcased maturity, confidence and athleticism in the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2 for Telugu Yoddhas. The young attacker accrued 58 points which once broken down has seen him register 32 Sky Dives, 18 Touch Points and 8 Pole Dives.
