On paper, this UKK Season 2 matchup of Chennai Quick Guns vs Rajasthan Warriors seems one-sided. But will there be a twist?
The Quick Guns are on course to finish atop the points table by the end of the league stage, and a win against a struggling Warriors could set the stage for the promising outcome. Ramji Kashyap and youngster Laxman Gawas have been the highlight figures among the other stalwarts in the team, and they will be the top players tasked with debugging all the strategies thrown into the mix by Rajasthan Warriors.
On the flip side, the Warriors are in a now-or-never situation to avoid a league-record 10 consecutive defeats in one Ultimate Kho Kho campaign. As often seen in some encounters this season, they put on a spirited performance against Mumbai Khiladis, but late errors cost them a victory. Nilesh Patil and Vrushabh Wagh have been the diamonds in the rough for the Warriors, and the duo are poised to pour out everything in them to keep their team safe from the inevitable and unwanted record that awaits them.
