That’s it, folks! We have arrived on the final league matchday of Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2, and there is a bumper schedule to draw curtains on a quality round-robin phase.

While the first game sees hosts Odisha Juggernauts entertain the Mumbai Khiladis, the final league game of UKK Season 2 pits Chennai Quick Guns and Gujarat Giants, who will battle to secure the top spot on the points table.

Today's results will ultimately determine the line-up for the Playoffs scheduled for January 11.

Match 29: Odisha Juggernauts vs Mumbai Khiladis

Hosts Odisha Juggernauts are on a three-game winning streak in Ultimate Kho Kho Season 2, a timed turnover from a mild dip in results in-between the 10-game league schedule. The Juggernauts’ strongest suit this term has been their pool of all-rounders - Rohan Shingade, Dilip Khandavi, Avinash Desai, captain Dipesh More and Nikhil B - and the quintet will go all out to spell trouble for the Mumbai Khiladis.

For starters, the Quick Guns have only lost one game this term and are eyeing three consecutive wins for the second time this season. Led by the mercurial Ramji Kashyap and the supercharged duo of Madan and Sachin Bhargo, the Chennai Quick Guns will look to electrify the mat and make it difficult for Gujarat Giants’ players to have their strategies executed to the T.

Meanwhile, given their excellent use of resources, the Giants have been a side to watch in UKK Season 2. Furthermore, their defensive unit has stood defiant with 59.38 minutes in the powerplay - a period where most teams look to garner maximum points in Ultimate Kho Kho. Abhinandan Patil, Suyash Gargate, Deepak Madhav and Faizankha Pathan will be the key Gujarat Giants’ players on the hunt for points against Chennai Quick Guns.
