Biography
Faizan is a 21-year-old player who was born and brought up in Vidarbha. He is a Defender who
was picked by the Mumbai Khiladis side.
He started playing Kho Kho when he was just 6 years old. His favourite Kho Kho memory is
playing in the Khelo India Games. He has played for Vidarbha Youth Katol team. He has won 2
Gold Medals in Khelo India Games, 2 Medals in School National, 1 in Junior National and 3 in
State Championship. He was part of the Khelo India Youth Games for New Delhi and Guwahati
teams.
He comes from a middle class farming family. He used to play Kabaddi before, but then he
switched to Kho Kho. He has a brother and a sister, and his brother also used to play Kho Kho.
His family is very supportive. He participates regularly in the local tournaments so that he gets
enough practice. He is currently pursuing second B.A. He wants to win the Ultimate Kho Kho
trophy for Mumbai Khiladis. He likes to play Cricket and Rohit Sharma is his favourite player.
